In its 13th year, the Rotary Club of St. Thomas Sunrise is once again hosting the annual Rotary Sunrise Kids Triathlon, “The Day of 5,000 Smiles” which serves to promote healthy sports competition for U.S. Virgin Islands children. Youth from our public, private and home schools are invited to participate in this wonderful swim-bike-run event as single entrants or relay teams. The Kids Triathlon is an excellent opportunity to teach our youth the benefits of sports from a health, as well as a social perspective. It teaches discipline, dedication, teamwork and self-esteem. Participants range between 100-150 children between the ages of 5 to 15. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, April 26,2025 at Magens Bay Beach on St. Thomas.
