Dominican Independence Day

Sunday’s line up begins at 2 p.m. for the motorcade, which will leave from the Golden Rock Shopping Center parking an hour later. It will wind its way towards Basin Triangle, down King Street, Christiansted and across Hospital Street toward Canegata Ball Park.

Once the motorcade arrives, the concert will begin inside the recreation center with entertainment from DJ Kiko, DJ Angelo and DJ Chupe. The main attraction for the evening will be performance from Grupo Kiro El Fuerte from Puerto Rico.

Food and drinks will be on sale during the event that ends at 10 p.m.
