Salt Pond Bay – A Hidden Gem on St. John
Salt Pond Bay Beach is one of St. John’s most popular and scenic beaches, offering a peaceful, protected cove with soft white sand, incredible snorkeling, and nearby hiking trails. Though it requires a moderate hike from the road, the stunning views and tranquil atmosphere make it well worth the effort.
The crescent-shaped beach is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the refreshing island breeze. The shallow, calm waters provide excellent conditions for snorkeling, where you can explore vibrant coral formations and spot tropical marine life. Plus, with nearby trails leading to breathtaking overlooks, Salt Pond Bay is an ideal spot for a full day of adventure.
How to Get There:
From Cruz Bay, take Centerline Road (Route 10) or North Shore Road (Route 20) toward Coral Bay. At the “T” intersection, turn right and continue for about 4 miles past Concordia. As the road sharply turns right, you’ll find parking on your left.
Pack your gear and make the trek—Salt Pond Bay is a must-visit for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike!
